Excelsior JET 6.5 beta 5 is out

Excelsior JET 6.5 Beta 5 concludes the long beta testing period started on August 1st 2008, the day of the total solar eclipse.
Since version 6.5, the Excelsior’s Java SE VM will become an OSGi container and the most secure environment for running Eclipse RCP applications.
Also, Beta 5 includes a new flavour of the JIT compiler which reduces dynamic compilation time by roughly about 40% as compared to the previous beta releases.

What does it mean “will become an OSGi container”? Will include some osgi implementation or what?
