Windows Vista support
Maintenance Pack 2 is a recommended update for Excelsior JET 4.8 that fixes multiple customer issues. It is also a prerequisite for Windows Vista support.
Java SE 5.0 Update 10 and below do not work properly on Windows Vista, so we had to wait until Sun released Update 11. If you need to target Windows Vista, you have to compile your applications using a profile based on that Java SE version.
For your convenience, we have created an integrated package that includes Maintenance Pack 2 and Java SE 5.0 Update 11 support add-on with a prebuilt profile. Download and install it and you will be able to target Windows Vista immediately.
