Excelsior JET 3.7, Professional Edition Add-on

JetPerfect Global Optimizer

Global analysis of application classes together with Java 2 API classes required for the application to work may increase the strength of many compiler optimizations. The result is a single executable that in most cases works faster and takes less memory than if the same application is compiled without global optimization.

JetPerfect Global Optimizer is a free add-on to Excelsior JET, Professional Edition. On this page, you may download the JetPerfect add-on for Windows and Linux.

Note: In the default mode, the Excelsior JET Virtual Machine supports the entire Java specification. Use of the JetPerfect add-on puts substantial restrictions on classloading facilities in compiled applications:

• all application classes must be known at compile time
• custom classloaders may not be used to load application classes

Prerequisites

1. Excelsior JET 3.7, Professional Edition must be already installed on your system.
2. Global analysis requires more resources than class-by-class compilation, so a fast machine with 512 or more megabytes of RAM is recommended.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Depending on the language and platform, download:
