  1. I am using Excelsior JET 3.0 Eval, serial number unspecified, with 1.4.1_01 on a P4 2.4ghz system with 512 MB of RAM running English language version of Windows XP and have the following question/problem: There is a bug with JRE/JDK 1.4.1_01 where applications using Swing and ATI Radeon Graphics chipsets will cause the system to hang. This applies to any application which uses JRE 1.4.1_01. The workaround is to use the switch "-Dsun.java2d.d3d=false" so that the application does not hang. So how do I pass JVM switches to the JET GUI? Here is the original bug report from Sun: http://developer.java.sun.com/developer/bugParade/bugs/4713003.html
