  1. Arguements in JetPackII

I need to add command line arguements for the JVM, -XX:-CodeForP6 Would I add this to arguements in the finish stage of JetPackII or do I need to add it to the target stage of Jet? Thanks in advance.
  2. Need help, at my wits end on this

Thank you for your help. Much appreciated.
  3. Need help, at my wits end on this

OK, I've made some progress on this. In JetPackII if i add all the .dll files from JMF2.1.1e\lib to may application directory it works( I get the video player ). I tried creating a directory in my app and addad the dll files to the directory, but it would not work, I also tried jaring all the files and add it as a resource, but also did not work. Having all the dll's in the main directory with the app.exe appears untidy and sloppy, how can I package the dll files into a directory or a jar and still have it work. Thanks in advance for any help.
  4. My IDE uses jre 1.3.1_08. In the jre/lib/ext directory I have jmf.jar, xerces.jar and jdom.jar. Movie player works finr when I run my app in the IDE. 1. Run JETSetup and point to that same jre 2. Open JET3.5 and add my application jar 3 Compile 4. Package 5. I select include the jre 6. Upon running the trial run the movie player throws the error, " Could not find a player for " yadayada file " What am I missing?
  5. Setup uses jre 1.3.1_08. In C:\Program Files\JavaSoft\JRE\1.3.1_08\lib\ext is the jmf.jar file But every time I and my application jar to my EJ classes it gives me an unresolved error on the class that calls the media player. Speciclly on classes used by the MediaPlayer class If I add the jmf.jar specificlly it gives 37 unreolved errors. What am I doing wrong to get this cleared up. If I force it into the the project and ignore it, the media player does not work when called. Thanks
  6. Deployment problems

Ok for anyone else that ever runs into this problem. Create your dist package for a thrid party installer, go to the directory that contains your installation package and protect the exe there( do not move the file) . 50 builds and installs later I figured it out.
  7. Deployment problems

Ok, Excelsior told me that when using a binary post-processor (CrypKey) you have to use a third party installer. Fine, I did that, but after installing the app on the destination PC, I recieved the cannot find xkrnxxxx.dll infamous message. Looking at the support section on this Excelsior instructs you to use JetPack to create your distributable. ? sounds like a catch 22 to me.
  8. Deployment problems

Hello, I protect my exe(created w/excelsior jet standard) with a third party protection software( CrypKey ). When trying to create the distributable package I keep getting an " Unable to bind ..." error and it tells me invalid component. Is there a workaround for this? Thank You
