Hi there, I work for a mobile games dev. company who are currently looking for a way to build easily distributable versions of our phone games for re-sale as standalone apps. We currently use a framework application which wraps our J2ME games, using the AWT package to support the J2ME equivalent classes. This however means that a 235Kb .jar file will result in a ~20Mb .exe file, due to the fact that we can't use JRE-less packaging. Our games use a very small subset of the JRE but there doesn't seem to be any way to limit the Runtime classes added to the final .exe, is this due to Sun's licensing agreement ? Ideally our .exe's should be < 6Mb, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance, Ronny Batty (http://www.morpheme.co.uk).
