    Modula-2 IDE

Thanks for your interest, sleepyhead! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to release it until now. Although it's still in its early stages, I home you find it useful. With the help of the users' comments, I expect it to evolve into a full-featured Modula-2 IDE. Regards.

    Modula-2 IDE

I think this information can be of interest to some of you: I've released an open source Modula-2 IDE based on Eclipse. Although it's intended to be integrated with the GNU Modula-2 compiler, this is not necessary. It's available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/modulipse/. So far, there are binary packages for Win32, Linux/gtk/x86 platforms, MacOSX/PPC, MacOSC/x86 and Solaris/Sparc. For those who already have Eclipse installed, it's possible to point the Eclipse update manager to the update site http://modulipse.sourceforge.net. Some (slightly outdated) screenshots can be found on http://www.flickr.com/photos/7508142@N07/ Regards.
  3. Is there any ongoing process to open source the compilers?!! I would be really interested in finding more information about it. I am developing an Eclipse-based Modula-2 IDE. Currently, it only supports the GNU compiler, but I would be happy to integrate the XDS compiler as long as it is open source. Someone has already shown interest in having an ISO compiler integrated in the environment. Probably more people would be happy to see that. Thanks.
