  1. C++ linkage

    I guess you would need Ada for this: http://www.adacore.com/2006/07/20/multi-language-programming-the-challenge-and-promise-of-class-level-interfacing/
  2. Syntax highlighting

    I've heard Zonnon is nowadays distributed with Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Shell http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/vstudio/bb510103.aspx. It's somewhat more than syntax highlighting, and would probably make XDS look and feel similar to Microsoft mainstream compilers?
  3. Syntax highlighting

    you can try emacs, of course: http://www.brgeight.se/
  4. No, there is not. Another related question: are there any plans to combine the XDS-x86 compiler (not necessarily open source) and a BlackBox Framework?
