  1. Thanks for the solution. It worked .But i am getting a jet runtime uncrecoverable error exception. I am using jni in my web application.
  2. Hi, i am using jni to access native code in my tomcat web application. But when i test my application for sample run in the control panel for tomcat applications, I got the error as: JET RUNTIME HAS DETECTED UNRECOVERABLE ERROR #17 (system exception). Please, contact the vendor of the application. Another thread on this forum suggests that this can be a problem due to accessing jni or native code accesssing third party libraries. In my native code i am using hiredis library for accessing redis server. But once i disable the loading of library from my configuration. I got the following error in my log files: java.unsatisfiedlinkerror. Can anybody please help me as soon as possible because my whole evaluation is stucked due to this error.

But i need to do the same thing on RHEL 6.2 also and i don't have GUI access. Basically i am accessing the server using putty from windows. Can i compile tomcat with war files on RHEL 6.2 using command line. The direcotry structure is as follows : (1)Excelsior jet 7.2 is installed at : /excelsior/jet7.6-eval/bin (2)tomcat with my war file rsp.war is installed at : /prd/rsp/tomcat6.0/
