Exception when running compiled lightbeam

Recommended Posts

  Hi,

I am trying to run a compiled version of simple Swing benchmark: https://lightbeam.dev.java.net/

I have placed "forms-1.2.1.jar" and "lightbeam.jar" to some directory and pointed to it as "Application's working directory".

For "Command line" I use the following: "java -Dswing.defaultlaf=javax.swing.plaf.metal.MetalLookAndFeel -cp lightbeam.jar;forms-1.2.1.jar org.jvnet.lightbeam.DynamicPerformanceSuite" and press "Parse" button.

Then I click "Next" button and try to run a test with "10" as "Application arguments". And there is an exception:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> START >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Exception in thread "pool-1-thread-1" java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException: Thread CPU time measurement is not supported.
at java.lang.Void.<unknown>(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Void.<unknown>(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Void.<unknown>(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Void.<unknown>(Unknown Source)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The application has terminated with exit code: 0

But running with SUN JRE works fine and there is no such exception.

Am I doing something wrong?

Unfortunately this example cannot work with Excelsior JET now. This example uses the functionality that is not required by Java SE Platform specification and is not supported in Excelsior JET.

Now I am creating an issue for this problem and I suppose we will be able to support it in the future.
