-LOOKUP & environment variables

Recommended Posts

I want to do something like this in my JET project file:

-LOOKUP=*.jar=%jardir%;%clientroot%\licensing\licensing_sdk\release\lib\jdk\%license_type%

But JET currently (as of 6.5) seems to not like that:

#The lookup directory or file "%jardir%" does not exist:

  *.jar=%jardir%;%clientroot%\licensing\licensing_sdk\release\lib\jdk\%license_type%

#The lookup directory or file "%clientroot%/licensing/licensing_sdk/release/lib/jdk/%license_type%" does not exist:

  *.jar=%jardir%;%clientroot%\licensing\licensing_sdk\release\lib\jdk\%license_type%

Is there a way to do this?

Hi,

Environment variables in a JET project file should be referenced as

$(varname) instead of %varname%.

For details, see Excelsior JET User's Guide, Chapter "JC Reference", section "Control file preprocessing".
