JET 7.6 Linux 64bit compiled binary crashes

Recommended Posts

Dear All,

I would like to report the problems with Excelsior JET 7.6:

Excelsior JET v7.6 Professional Edition © Excelsior 1997,2010

Active Java SE Version 1.6.0_41 (profile 41)

We are running our JET compiled binaries on SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 11 SP 1 64bit. Our application was running in dual cluster configuration under pacemaker software (www.clusterlabs.org) and Java Service wrapper (http://wrapper.tanukisoftware.com/doc/english/download.jsp).

1. The first problem: unfortunately those binaries crash every couple of days. When running Java classes, we observed 1 single crash of 8 systems over 1 month, with JET there was crash every 3-4 days.

Is there any way to compile/run the binary so that it would provide us with the debug information upon crash (core file or so ?) - what would you recommend ?

2. Second problem: when running Java JET compiled binary in Java Service Wrapper and pacemaker 1.1.9, there are crashes at startup:

STATUS | wrapper | 2013/06/27 01:46:52 | --> Wrapper Started as Daemon

STATUS | wrapper | 2013/06/27 01:46:52 | Launching a JVM...

Sample of the jet_err...txt files is attached.

Do you have the idea why it happens ?

Can you please help us in this situation ? - in one project we already were forced to abandon JET and use Java classes only.

Can we help you somehow (how ?) to investigate this problem ?

I attach the err txt files.

Thanks for you answer in advance.
