crypto extensions

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am developping an app which uses the crypto extensions of Java jce.jar, I am using the evaluation version of Jet 3.11. The app runs fine on the pc it is compiled, and when I pack it onto another PC it runs fine until I call crypto functions (SHA-1 for example).  I have played around with the classpath but to no avail... Any suggestions?

Thanks a lot

David

Hello, David.

Have you used the "Trial Run" during packaging?

The crypto API dynamically looks for providers, so it is necessary to perform trial run to correctly determine the set of required JET RT dlls.

Of course, you may simply force to include whole JET RT into the package, but it will increase the size of the package.

I tried the trial run and packed the whole JET RT I think. I was trying the JEtPack for the first time, I'll do it again and write down exactly the error messages.

thanks

What crypto functions are you using?

Do you use 3rd party library?

My development with Java only crypto function works fine (at least upto this moment) for me in JET3.00
