FormatMessage pose a doubt to me

Recommended Posts

I'm writing code in C++ using Microsoft function FormatMessage.

I found this is consuming main memory on most of the calls to it. I'm freeing the memory allocated by it using LocalFree(). I could find that this is occupying the memory in Task manager.

What should  I do to free this memory?

I'm running out of memory as the loop containing this iterates some lacks of times.

I wonder how this memory could stay even after exiting the function with this loop.

Please answer me as soon as possible.

Thanks and regards
