can't make .exe from eclipse project

Recommended Posts

I made a GUI with SWT/JFACE in eclipse. Unfortunately I am not able to create a working .exe file from this project.

I created a .jar file which contains all the neccessary libraries etc. I can doubleclick on the .jar and the program opens and works fine.

but when I start the conversion with JET 3.70 I get this screen:

ex-screen2.jpg

I think this might happen because I use dynamic paths to the library? Then I followed the instruction on this page:

http://www.excelsior-usa.com/kb/000010.html

unfortunately the newly created eclipse program keeps crashing. so I am not able to work with this version.

well I am pretty much at the end of ideas how to fix these problems. I am trying to make this work for several days now with no luck.

Does anybody have some useful tips? thanks in advance.

You wrote that you followed the JET KB article

(http://www.excelsior-usa.com/kb/000010.html) and

the newly created eclipse program keeps crashing.

Did you use the projects and scripts that come with the article?

Please, be more specific about that crashes. What was printed to the standard output? When and how does it crash?

Eclipse 3.0 is included the main JET testsuite so we tested it carefully before releasing JET 3.7
