Command line arguments

Recommended Posts

In step 2 of Excelsior Jet, I specify the command line:

java -jar blah.jar -myArgs

In main, I use the argument.  To debug, I do the

following:

System.out.println("Number arguments: "+args.length);

When I run the command myself, it says there is 1 argument, but when I run the Excelsior executable, it says there are none.  In other words, it is not incorporating the command line arguments into the execution of my application.

How do I get command line arguments?

Chuck.

To create a project, the JET Control Panel parses only *JVM* command line arguments as application arguments are not required to compile the application.

How do I get command line arguments?

The way it's usually done for a native application:

YouExeName <arguments>
