Runtime error #3( trap ) in JET

Recommended Posts

I recently downloaded the evaluation version Excelsior JETv4.1. I have used it to create an executable of a console Java application. But when I run the executable it gives me the following errors:

? ?

Stack overflow in non-Java method at EIP=7C90EDDC, ESP=00032FF8

Runtime error #19000(trap) in JET

Runtime error #3(trap) in JET

We have generated our application using NetBeans. After installing JET, I have followed the instructions in the manual to compile the console application to an executable. The code has calls to JNI through dll. I have tried to set the stack limit from the command prompt and also have increased the stack size for the dll's. But the problem persists.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

Thanks

Can you provide us a sample demonstrating this crash?

In general, we cannot investigate an issue in a large application based just on a error message or verbal description of the misbehavior. We need to find the exact place in the application's code that works incorrectly, and track it down to a problem in the JET compiler, in the JET runtime, or in the application itself (yes, we had such cases). In order to do that, we need to be able to reproduce the problem.

Regards,

AlexM.
